Kajang Municipal Council's (MPKj) mission is based on 12 pillars – with the obligation to perform their duties, patient must come first, staffs must be moderate, humble and to have great personal manner, to appreciate time, persistence toward success, good positive influence and staffs must also have high kindness heart. 

To sum it up, MPKj's mission is to offer the best city management that comes with honesty, quality and efficiency in line with the 12 pillars mentioned above. And among some of the objectives are to sustain the natural beauty of the city while at the same time, to ensure the residence comfort; plan the infrastructural maintenance accordingly and most importantly, to have an efficient and effective financial management.
